Booil Agricultural Company introduced the domestic-first auto production machinery for natto production from in Japan in 1996 and established a factory that has been producing natto since 1997. Currently it sells the item at home and abroad under the brand name "Pyeongchang Natto". Natto (fast-fermented bean paste) that has been produced and consumed mainly in Japan is similar to cheonggukjang, Korea's traditional health food. However, Natto has cheonggukjang’s distinctive odor removed, and thus is also hygienic and traditional health food. Natto is a food made of boiled beans that has been fermented and aged by microorganisms (Bacillus), and is also one of the best foods that make us absorb solar energy contained in soy. We always think about the health of our customers and select only the finest ingredients to make the best products though a production system that boasts the best hygiene; we produce our products with the same the devotion as to our family. Because our products “Pyeongchang Natto” are fermented from 100% pure domestic beans and made by natto yeast extracted from straw without any additives, our products can protect consumers' health and safety with its nutritional quality not inferior to any other food. For safe intake of children to adults, we don’t add any preservative and colorings so that they can feel the taste of nature. In addition, because our factory environment is located in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, a place of the 2018 Winter Olympics, which has good water and mountains 700M above sea level, our product “Pyeongchang Natto” is made of such good water and ingredients.
